Bossy Bingo is a fundraiser held by the SWCD every year during The LaPorte County Fair. Tickets are $10.00 each. To play, you fill out the stub portion, which we keep. Once all sales have ended, we take all the stubs, mix them up, and draw them randomly placing them on our Bossy board.
We take the board down to the show arena where the grid is duplicated on the floor. Then, Bossy is brought in to do her thing. If she uses the restroom on your square, you win half of the money collected! If she doesn’t use the restroom within a half hour, we blindfold one of the judges, spin them around, and make them throw a Frisbee.
This is a very important fundraiser to the SWCD. The Bossy Bingo money goes toward our FREE education programs that we offer to the public.
Bossy Bingo 2010 will be held at 5:00PM at the Show Arena on July 22. Tickets are now available at the SWCD office. They will be available at the SWCD tent in Pioneerland until 4:00PM the day of the event. |
